‘RAASHEE’25’ : Grand Conclusion of International Conference

Lucknow: The two-day international conference ‘RAASHEE’25’ concluded with grandeur at Lucknow University’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The second day witnessed multiple parallel sessions across four tracks.

In the Physical Sciences track, under the chairmanship of Professor Ajit M. Srivastava (Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar), Professor Sujit Agarwal delivered a lecture on Science and Developed India. Professor Shikha Verma discussed Nano-hybrids and DNA Sensors, Dr. C.R. Gautam elaborated on ceramics and polymer-based composites for biomedical applications, Dr. Amarendra Kumar presented on quantum chemical studies of biologically significant molecular systems, and Professor Shefali Vaidya delivered an online lecture on flexible and luminescent Au(I)-thiolate coordination polymer fibers.

The Chemical Sciences track featured two sessions. The first, chaired by Dr. Prabhanshu Tripathi (CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research), included a keynote by Dr. Shashi Bala on the role of metal oxide nanoparticles and nanocomposites in revolutionizing water treatment for environmental sustainability. The second session, chaired by Professor V.K. Rai, had Dr. Prabhanshu Tripathi presenting on “Human: An Individual or a Community of Microorganisms.”

The Mathematical Sciences track hosted three consecutive sessions. In the first, chaired by Professor Pankaj Srivastava (MNNIT Allahabad), Professor Rajendra Prasad spoke on Riemannian Submersion. The second, chaired by Professor Pankaj Mathur, explored lacunary and Pal-type interpolation processes. The third, chaired by Professor Satya Dev (University of Allahabad), featured a keynote on “Multiphase Flow of Different Fluids through Channels and Cylindrical Shells.” Additionally, Professor Arvind Kumar Singh (Banaras Hindu University) delivered a lecture on “Newton-like Optimal Iterative Methods for Solving Nonlinear Equations.”

The Humanities track included three significant sessions. The Linguistics and Applied Linguistics session, chaired by Professor R.P. Singh, focused on “Interpretation of Language Signals: Language, Linguistics, and Interdisciplinary Perspectives.” The Humanities and Management session, chaired by Professor Sangeeta Sahu, discussed “Industrial Revolution and Evolved Management Strategies.” The third session, centered on Dalit, Tribal, and Women’s Literature, was chaired by Dr. Savya Sachi and featured a keynote by Dr. Alka Singh (RMLNLU, Lucknow) on “Tribal Literature as a Cultural Discourse.”

A special lecture by Professor N.K. Pandey highlighted multidisciplinary education under the National Education Policy 2020.

‘RAASHEE’25’: Valedictory Session Marks the Conclusion

The second day concluded with a valedictory session at Vishwakarma Auditorium, chaired by Professor R.M. Naik, featuring three scholarly presentations. Professor V.P. Singh spoke on “Travel Literature: Expanding Boundaries Among Disciplines,” Professor Anil Mishra shared insights on “Stress Management in the Digital Age – A Simple Approach,” and Professor Pushpendra Tripathi delivered a crucial lecture on “Dendrimer-Based Nanomedicine.” These discussions encapsulated the diverse dimensions of science, technology, and humanities, marking a successful conclusion to the conference.

The closing ceremony at Vishwakarma Auditorium began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and the university anthem. Faculty Dean Professor A.K. Singh welcomed Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Manuka Khanna, Chief Guest  Siddharth Verma (IRTS, Lucknow Division), and Special Guest Shri Vivek Mishra (AGM-HCL Tech) with floral bouquets and mementos.

In his closing speech, Professor A.K. Singh envisioned a new era, stating, “‘RAASHEE’25’ is not just a conference but the beginning of a new intellectual revolution. The seeds of thought sown here will grow into a banyan tree in the coming decades. This confluence of science and humanities will guide India’s new technological revolution.”

Vivek Mishra emphasized India’s technological prowess, stating, “When science connects with sensitivity, new definitions of progress are written. ‘RAASHEE’25’ has proven that Indian talent is ready to set new benchmarks on the global stage.”

Chief Guest  Siddharth Verma called ‘RAASHEE’25’ a confluence of science and humanity, marking the beginning of India’s scientific revolution. “Today’s conference heralds a new era. The fusion of India’s scientific heritage and modern technological prowess will guide the world in a new direction. When science meets humanity, a new revolution is born.”

Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Manuka Khanna shed light on the synergy between Indian knowledge traditions and modern science, stating, “Our scientific tradition has always been linked to human welfare. ‘RAASHEE’25’  has aligned this tradition with the challenges of the new era. Indian science today will teach the world how to balance technological progress with human values.”

Over 150 participants were awarded certificates. The historic conference concluded with a vote of thanks by convenor Dr. Deepak Gupta, followed by the national anthem.
