Punjab National Bank Opens First Startup-Centric Branch in New Delhi

NEW DELHI – Punjab National Bank (PNB) has launched its first Startup-centric Branch in New Delhi’s Bhikaji Cama Place. The new branch is a key initiative under the Startup India mission, designed to offer tailored banking solutions and financial support to early-stage businesses. The inauguration ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), and Shri Ashok Chandra, MD & CEO of PNB.

A One-Stop Solution for Startups

The branch aims to be a comprehensive financial hub for startups, offering services such as funding, specialized schemes, and various financial products designed to meet the unique needs of new businesses.

During the event, PNB and STPI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership will see STPI provide PNB with a curated list of startups, giving them direct access to the bank’s specialized schemes and financial products. The collaboration is intended to bridge the gap between technological innovation and financial support, creating a robust ecosystem for growth.
