Lucknow: The election of the Provincial Health Education Officers’ Association was successfully conducted at the Diploma Engineering Building, located opposite Raj Bhavan, Lucknow. The election process was held under the supervision of Dr Amit Singh, nominated observer from the Directorate General of Family Welfare, and Dr Naresh Uttam, Additional General Secretary of the State Employees Federation Council.
Following the completion of the electoral process, Sunita Patel was elected as President, Rajkumar as Senior Vice President, Mahendra Bharti as Vice President, Anand Yadav as Treasurer, and Pradeep Gaur as Organization Secretary. Abhay Pratap Singh was elected as Joint Secretary, while Bepin Bihari Mishra was elected to the post of Auditor. Several office-bearers were elected unopposed due to a single nomination for their respective posts.
Notably, Sunita Patel, Deputy DHEIO, has been elected as President of the cadre for the second consecutive term. Addressing the members, she announced that the file related to service rules and job responsibilities is currently under process at the government level and assured that she would ensure early issuance of orders. She further stated that the promotion file pending with the commission would also be expedited. Issues such as notional benefits, restoration of the old pension scheme, and recruitment against vacant posts will be treated as top priorities.
Dr Amit Singh, Joint Director (Administration), Family Welfare, administered the oath of office to all the elected representatives and congratulated the newly elected executive committee, wishing them success in their tenure.
