LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Academy of Pediatrics, in partnership with the Young Indians (Yi) wing of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), organized a “Wellness Youth Initiative” session on digital wellness for adolescents at City Montessori School, Aliganj 1 Branch.
The session, led by Dr. Shalini Bhasin, President of the Lucknow Academy of Pediatrics, was attended by over 500 students from Class 6 and 15 teachers. The program focused on raising awareness about the importance of digital wellness in today’s interconnected world.
Students were educated on a range of crucial topics, including:

- Balancing screen time to prevent overuse and its negative effects.
- Maintaining online safety and etiquette, which is vital for responsible online behavior.
- Managing digital distractions to improve focus and productivity.
- Protecting online privacy to safeguard personal information.
- Recognizing and preventing cyberbullying to ensure a safe and respectful online environment.
- Promoting healthy digital habits that support overall mental and physical well-being.
The initiative aimed to foster responsible digital citizenship and a positive online presence among adolescents, equipping them with the skills to navigate the digital world safely and effectively.
