Lucknow: On the occasion of International Teachers’ Day, Prof. Dr. Neetu Sharma, Head of the Hindi Department at Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow, was conferred with the International Teacher Honour by the Shabd Pratibha Multisectoral Foundation, Nepal. The recognition celebrates her outstanding contribution to education, literature, and academic excellence.
Prof. Sharma, known for her deep commitment to Hindi language and literature, has earlier been the recipient of several prestigious honours, including UP Ratan, Shiksha Gaurav Samman, Sahitya Dharohar Samman, Hindi Gaurav Samman, and Uttkrisht Lekhan Samman. On the international front, she has been awarded the Vishwa Kavya Ratna and the International Hindi Mitra Samman, further establishing her as a prominent literary and academic figure.
In addition to her academic achievements, Prof. Sharma also serves as the President of the Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad, Lucknow, where she continues to inspire writers, educators, and students alike through her leadership and literary vision.
