Lucknow: Priority Hearing inaugurated its new HearWell Center for Hearing Wellness in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, introducing a patient-centric approach to hearing care. Unlike conventional models focused only on selling hearing aids, the center emphasizes long-term healthcare and patient empowerment.
According to World Health Organization (WHO) data, nearly 63 million people in India suffer from some form of hearing impairment. Alarmingly, about 30% of people who purchase hearing aids do not use them, resulting in nearly ₹800 crore worth of devices lying unused each year. This not only leads to economic loss but also wastes the opportunity for improved quality of life.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Raj Sharma, Founder of Priority Hearing, said: “HearWell is not just a place to buy hearing aids. It is a comprehensive wellness center where patients receive expert consultation, accurate diagnosis, customized fittings, continuous counseling, and regular follow-ups. Our goal is to ensure that people don’t just purchase a device, but use it effectively to truly transform their lives.”
He further announced that HearWell plans to establish over 20 centers across India in the next two years, setting new benchmarks in hearing wellness.

The center will offer:
- Advanced diagnostic and hearing assessment facilities
- Digital hearing aids with personalized fitting
- Speech and vestibular (balance) evaluations
- Long-term consultation and support services
With this launch, HearWell aims to position itself as a pioneer in holistic hearing healthcare, bridging the gap between technology, medical expertise, and patient needs.
