Lucknow — The Department of Biochemistry, University of Lucknow, marked a significant milestone today with the official unveiling of the poster and brochure for its upcoming International Conference on Bridging Innovative Research in Translational and Interventional Health (BIRTH-2025), scheduled to be held during November13-15, 2025 later this year. The unveiling ceremony took place in the office of the Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok K Rai in the presence of esteemed faculty members of the Department of Biochemistry.
Prof. Alok K Rai, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the University of Lucknow, formally released the conference poster and brochure. He applauded the department’s continuous efforts to foster international collaboration and promote cutting-edge research in the biochemical sciences. He emphasized the importance of such academic platforms in addressing global scientific challenges.
Prof. Sudhir Mehrotra, Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Chairperson of the conference, briefed about the theme, objectives, and planned sessions of the event. The conference is being organised to bring together leading scientists, academicians, and industry experts from around the world to discuss the translational efforts being made in the field of Haemoglobinopathies, Cancer biology, Infectious diseases, Neurological and Metabolic disorders and Traditional Indian Health Systems.

The brochure and the poster highlight key topics to be covered under translational health research. It also details registration procedures, important deadlines, and keynote speakers from reputed national and international institutions.
Prof. Geetanjali Mishra, Prof. Kusum Yadav, Dr. Prashant Kumar Singh, Dr. Raj Kamal Srivastava, Dr. Rudra Prakash Ojha, Dr. Nisha Singh and Dr. Madhu Kamle were present during the unveiling ceremony.
