Ayodhya: With the by-election for the Milkipur Assembly seat in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya district drawing closer, political activities are in full swing. While the BJP is putting its entire machinery to work, the Samajwadi Party (SP) has also ramped up its efforts. SP MP from Mainpuri, Dimple Yadav, campaigned for the party’s candidate, Ajit Prasad, through an extensive roadshow, adding further heat to the already charged political atmosphere.
Dimple Yadav Leads Roadshow
Dimple Yadav arrived at Ayodhya airport before heading to Milkipur. She led an 8-km-long roadshow aimed at garnering support for SP candidate Ajit Prasad. The roadshow witnessed participation from prominent SP leaders, including Dr. Ragini Sonkar, MP Priya Saroj, Juhi Singh, and Awadhesh Prasad, alongside party workers and supporters.
Dimple Yadav Confident of Victory
Speaking to the media, Dimple Yadav expressed confidence that the Milkipur constituency is strongly in favor of the SP. She urged voters to make Ajit Prasad victorious by a significant margin, emphasizing the importance of this by-election as a historic turning point for the region.
Condolences for Prayagraj Tragedy
During her media interaction, Dimple Yadav also addressed the recent tragedy in Prayagraj. She extended her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who lost loved ones and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Additionally, she called upon the government to increase the compensation amount for the victims’ families.
As the by-election date approaches, both parties are leaving no stone unturned, making Milkipur a battleground of high-stakes political strategies.
