Lucknow: Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Manoj Singh inspected the Industrial Corridor located near Kanpur-Lucknow National Highway in Unnao district. A Polish company wants to set up its manufacturing unit here. In such a situation, the Chief Secretary took stock of the necessary facilities like road, electricity arrangements.
Thousands of youth will get employment with the arrival of the Polish company in this industrial corridor. This company manufactures products like aluminum cans, glass bottles, metal lids and containers etc. for packing beverages.
Many acres of land needed for manufacturing unit
Sources said that Chief Secretary Manoj Singh reached the site of the Industrial Corridor being built near Sarai Katiyan village in Unnao on Thursday. During this, officers of Poland’s Canpack company were also present with him. The reason for coming here was to get the officials of Canpack company to conduct a physical inspection of the land. The company needs several acres of land to set up its manufacturing unit here.
According to the Chief Secretary, the Polish company wants to set up its factory in Unnao, for which they came here. He has talked to the officers for the land as per the requirement of the factory. He has also assured for every possible facility. The Chief Secretary said that many companies will come in this corridor, which will provide employment to the people here. He directed Unnao Jal Nigam, Electricity Department and DM to ensure the arrangement of electricity, water and sewer in the industrial corridor soon, so that the companies do not have to face any kind of problem.
