Lucknow: Today is the second day of Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination. On the second day of the police recruitment examination, the examination of the candidates is going on amid tight security. This time, several teams of STF, UP Police are keeping an eye on the examination centers to conduct the examination in a copy-free and peaceful manner. 1154 centers have been set up in 67 districts of UP for the UP Police Recruitment Examination.
On the second day of the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination, the first shift paper held in many districts of Uttar Pradesh has started at 10 am. After a thorough search of the candidates, they have been given entry into the examination center. Director General of Police Prashant Kumar himself is monitoring the transparency of the examination. He is inspecting the examination center set up at Lucknow University.
81 centers set up in Lucknow
Talking about Lucknow, 81 centers have been set up for the examination (UP Police Exam 2024). There is a tight police guard in and around these examination centers. All the photocopy, cyber cafe etc. shops around the center have been closed. Monitoring is being done with 1871 CCTV cameras. Teams of 173 people are ready for monitoring.
Lucknow District Magistrate Dr. Suryapal Gangwar reached Christian Inter College in Golaganj on the second day of the examination. Earlier he inspected the Government Jubilee Inter College. Police and RAF teams have been deployed at the bus stand, railway station and taxi stand to ensure that the candidates do not face any inconvenience.
UP Police Exam 2024: 31 percent students skipped the exam on the first day
It is worth noting that on the first day, about 09 lakh 60 candidates were to appear for the examination in both the shifts, but 31 percent of the candidates were absent. Cheating was caught at many places. At the same time, the SSP has suspended four policemen for negligence during examination duty in Muzaffarnagar.
