Lucknow: With the upcoming festivals of Ramadan and Holi, the Lucknow Police Commissionerate has intensified preparations to ensure peace and communal harmony across the city. A crucial Peace Committee meeting was held at the Wazirganj Police Station to review security arrangements and coordinate with local residents.
The meeting was chaired by Station House Officer Rajesh Kumar Tripathi and attended by Hata Outpost In-charge Ranjeet Pathak along with other members of the police team. Community representatives and local residents also participated in the discussions.
During the meeting, police officials appealed to citizens to maintain mutual brotherhood, refrain from spreading or believing in rumours, and strictly follow law and order guidelines. Residents were urged to immediately inform the police about any suspicious activity during the festive period.
Officials emphasized that special vigilance and enhanced security measures will be implemented to ensure that both Ramadan and Holi are celebrated in a safe, peaceful, and harmonious environment.
The police reiterated their commitment to maintaining communal harmony and ensuring a secure atmosphere for all citizens during the festive season.
