Police Launches Drive Against Stunt Riding and Black-Filmed Vehicles in Sant Kabir Nagar

Sant Kabir Nagar: In a bid to strengthen road safety and ensure women’s security under the ongoing Mission Shakti 5.0 campaign of the Uttar Pradesh government, the Sant Kabir Nagar Police on Sunday carried out a special drive against stunt riding and vehicles with black-tinted windows.

The campaign, launched under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Sandeep Kumar Meena, and guided by Additional Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar Singh with the direct monitoring of Traffic Circle Officer Abhynath Mishra, aimed at enforcing traffic norms and promoting public awareness.

During the intensive checking operation conducted on November 2, 2025, police teams from all local stations and the traffic department inspected numerous vehicles across the district. Offenders found violating traffic safety norms, particularly those involved in dangerous stunt driving or using vehicles with prohibited black films, were penalized in accordance with the law.

Police officials emphasized that the campaign was not merely punitive but educational — designed to raise awareness about traffic discipline, women’s safety, and respect for public order. The initiative is part of a broader effort to create safer roads and a more secure environment for women to move freely and confidently.

Authorities confirmed that such drives would continue regularly to reinforce public responsibility and ensure that Sant Kabir Nagar remains a model district for law enforcement, women’s empowerment, and road safety compliance.
