Police Action Against Wanted Criminals in Sultanpur District Under Ongoing Drive

Sultanpur: In line with the ongoing campaign against wanted criminals and warrants, led by Police Superintendent of Sultanpur,  Kunwar Anupam Singh, and under the close supervision of the Additional Police Superintendent, a series of successful actions were carried out by various police stations across the district. These actions resulted in the arrest of several wanted individuals.

Action by Kotwali Dehat Police:

A team from Kotwali Dehat Police Station, led by Inspector Satyendra Kumar Singh, arrested the wanted accused, Mohammed Saddam alias Rajesh Yadav, son of Nabi Rasool, a resident of Semri Purshottampur, in connection with case number 07/2025, registered under sections 64/316(2)/352/351(3) BNS at Kotwali Dehat Police Station. The accused was apprehended and subsequently sent to court for legal proceedings.

  • Inspector  Satyendra Kumar Singh (Incharge)
  • Sub-Inspector  Havildar Singh Yadav
  • Constable Vijay Yadav

Action by Shivgarh Police:

In a separate operation, the Shivgarh Police team, led by Sub-Inspector  Ramakant Tripathi, arrested the accused, Sunny, son of Brijlal, a resident of Surya Bhan Patti in the Lamhua area, under case number 001/25. This case involves sections 137(2)/87/352 BNS, and sections 7/8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused was arrested and sent to the relevant court for legal action.

  • Sub-Inspector Shri Ramakant Tripathi (Incharge)
  • Constable Kamla Yadav

These actions are part of the continuous efforts by the Sultanpur Police to ensure the arrest of wanted criminals and maintain law and order in the region.
