Lucknow: Punjab National Bank (PNB), a major public sector lender in India, is reaffirming its commitment to Uttar Pradesh’s development by expanding its presence and services across the state. On a recent visit to Lucknow, Executive Director M. Parmasivam reviewed the functioning of key operational verticals under the Lucknow zone and underscored the bank’s focus on inclusive growth.
A significant highlight of the visit was the inauguration of the newly renovated Ram Ram Bank Chauraha branch. The branch now boasts upgraded infrastructure and customer-friendly features aimed at enhancing banking convenience and service delivery in the area.
Speaking at the event, Parmasivam said, “PNB remains fully committed to supporting the aspirations of customers across Uttar Pradesh. Our services are designed to ensure inclusive financial access, and our efforts are directly linked to the economic development of the region.”
He added that the bank is actively working to bridge the urban-rural divide by providing tailored loan products for individuals, entrepreneurs, farmers, and the MSME sector. PNB’s digital platforms are also being strengthened to ensure faster, more transparent, and customer-centric services.
Several senior bank officials, including Zonal Head Mrityunjay, Deputy Zonal Head Syed Athar Hussain Kazmi, Circle Head Raj Kumar Singh, and Branch Manager Anupama Trivedi, attended the launch. They discussed strategic initiatives to enhance financial access and service delivery across the region.
The refurbished branch is equipped with features like easy-access counters, self-service digital kiosks, and support facilities for senior citizens—steps aligned with the bank’s goal of creating a more tech-savvy and inclusive banking experience.
