Lucknow: In view of the upcoming festivals, a crucial Peace Committee meeting was held at Sahadatganj Police Station to ensure that celebrations are conducted in a peaceful and harmonious manner.
The meeting was chaired by Virendra Vikram, ACP Bazar Khala, and attended by Station House Officer Santosh Kumar Arya along with local outpost in-charges and senior police officials. Representatives of Holika Dahan committees, mela organizers and members associated with religious processions were also present.
Detailed discussions were held regarding arrangements for the holy month of Ramzan and the festival of colours, Holi. Officials reviewed security measures, crowd management plans and coordination strategies to maintain law and order in the area.

Organizers of Holika Dahan events, fairs and processions were briefed about necessary guidelines, including adherence to designated locations and timings, traffic management and compliance with safety norms.
The police administration appealed to residents to celebrate the festivals with traditional peace, mutual brotherhood and communal harmony. Citizens were urged not to pay heed to rumours and to immediately inform authorities of any suspicious activity to ensure a safe festive season.
