Peace Committee Meeting Held at Naka Hindola Police Station Ahead of Bakrid

Lucknow:  A Peace Committee meeting was held at Naka Hindola Police Station in preparation for the upcoming Bakrid festival. The meeting was chaired by Station House Officer Virendra Tripathi, who appealed to all community members to celebrate the festival with brotherhood and mutual respect.

Clear Guidelines Issued for Peaceful Celebrations

SHO Tripathi issued strict directives against conducting animal sacrifices in public places. He also instructed that sacrificial remains must not be disposed of in the open and should be properly covered while being transported to ensure hygiene and public decorum.

The meeting was attended by representatives of both Hindu and Muslim communities, along with members of the Bhartiya Peace Committee. The session was coordinated by Imran Khan (Bhartiya), who facilitated dialogue and cooperation among the attendees.

Coordination with Mosques and Eidgahs

During the meeting, the police gathered information about local mosques and Eidgahs to ensure adequate security arrangements. The police administration assured the public that any disputes arising during the festival would be promptly addressed and resolved.

The initiative reflects the commitment of the police and community members to maintain peace, harmony, and festive spirit during Bakrid, reinforcing interfaith unity in the region.
