Peace Committee Meeting Held at Madeyganj Police Station in Lucknow

Appeal for Peaceful Celebrations of Alvida, Eid, and Ram Navami

Lucknow: A Peace Committee meeting was held on Wednesday at Madeyganj Police Station to ensure that upcoming festivals, including Alvida, Eid, and Ram Navami, are celebrated in a peaceful and harmonious manner.

The meeting was chaired by Inspector Rajesh Singh and attended by local representatives, including Councilor Musavvir Ali Manshu, Kadam Rasool Ward Councilor Nadeem Khan, former councilor’s sons Saif and Jamal Uddin, former councilor Kum Kum Rajput, along with several responsible community members and local leaders.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the schedule of prayers and other events related to Eid. The police assured that they would maintain strict vigilance during Alvida, Eid, and Ram Navami to prevent any untoward incidents.

“We appeal to people of all faiths not to spread or believe in any rumors,” said Inspector Rajesh Singh.

The attendees expressed their commitment to maintaining communal harmony, citing past festivals like Ramzan, Eid, and Holi, which were celebrated peacefully with brotherhood and unity.

Inspector Rajesh Singh urged citizens to celebrate the festivals in a peaceful and amicable environment. The police also advised people to remain cautious and not pay heed to any rumors.

The meeting was attended by Station In-charge Rajesh Singh, along with other police officials, including Sakina Khan, Amarnath, and the entire Madeyganj police team. Several respected councilors and community members also participated, reaffirming their pledge to uphold peace and harmony in the region.
