Peace Committee Meeting Held Ahead of Muharram in Kaisarbagh

Lucknow : In view of the upcoming Muharram festival, a Peace Committee meeting was convened on Monday at the Kaisarbagh Police Station premises under the joint leadership of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kaisarbagh, Ratnesh Singh, and Station House Officer (SHO)  Anjani Mishra.

The meeting witnessed the participation of eminent citizens, community leaders, and social representatives from the Kaisarbagh area, all coming together to ensure a peaceful and harmonious observance of the sacred occasion.

The primary aim of the gathering was to promote communal harmony, maintain law and order, and establish a channel of communication between the police and the public to avoid any untoward incidents during Muharram.

During the discussion, attendees pledged their full support to the administration and shared constructive suggestions for the smooth and respectful conduct of the religious processions and gatherings.

Officials emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation and understanding between communities and assured that adequate security arrangements will be in place. They also urged citizens to promptly report any suspicious activities and to celebrate the festival while upholding the spirit of unity and peace.

The police expressed confidence that, with collective responsibility and vigilance, the upcoming Muharram would pass peacefully and respectfully.
