Lucknow: With the aim of paying tribute to the 72 martyrs of Karbala and creating awareness about blood donation in the society, especially the Muslim society, a blood donation camp was organized under the joint aegis of Hussaini Blood Donor Club (Zare Saya Hussaini Welfare Society) and King George Medical University Lucknow at Imambara Ghufranmaab, Chowk,
The camp was held in Lucknow from 10 am to 2 pm. In which all the Muslim, Hindu brothers and women who have reverence for Imam Hussain participated enthusiastically. Also took a pledge that if blood is ever needed for humanity, then they are always ready to donate their blood. A total of 160 units of blood were donated in this camp.
