Lucknow: A notification has been issued regarding the organization of the State Level Senior Men’s Cricket Competition in the year 2024-25, celebrating the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Birth Centenary Year. This competition is scheduled to take place from 16th to 22nd November 2024, at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. The Lucknow Division team will participate, and the selection trials for this team were conducted at two levels:
- District Level Selection was held on 11th November 2024 at Chowk Stadium, Lucknow.
- Division Level Selection took place on 12th November 2024 at Chowk Stadium, Lucknow.
The participants are to adhere to all COVID-19 prevention guidelines as per the instructions from the Government of India, State Government, and District Administration. The final list of selected players were submitted to the office on the same day to ensure timely participation in the state-level competition.
The Regional Sports Officer had directed relevant officials, including the District Youth Welfare Officer and the District Sports Officers, to publicize the trials and ensure that players from surrounding districts are sent for the trials without travel allowance.
