The group promotes handloom weaves sarees and Indian dress to support our handloom weavers.
Founder of the PPS group,Rekha kumar, an educationist and social worker stressed on wearing Indian cotton dresses like sarees instead of western synthetic attire. She said ladies look more graceful and elegant in our silk and cotton traditional dresses which are world famous.
Among the special guests,
Dr Manjulika Asthana a social worker stressed on helping the home chefs by giving them chance to serve, Meenakshi Srivastava, an welness expert given tips how to avoid obesity, Mrinalini Gupta, a nature lover, shared tips how to make Bonsai plants and K easily at home to save the nature.
They organised many activities like, quiz, singing, dancing and many games based on sawan bhadon topic.
Among the winners, Seetu Yadav won well dressed title, Anju Rastogi won in Ramp walk, Amita Seth and Rashmi Mishra both won in dance, Reena Singh and Veena Srivastava won in quiz and Gita Srivastava won in singing competition.
Meenu Srivastava Rajni Gaur were in the core team also there were nearing 30 ladies from different walks of life who attended the event.
