Pakistan not to take Champions Trophy to PoK

New Delhi. The Champions Trophy is to be hosted by Pakistan next year. For this, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has sent the trophy of the tournament to Pakistan. The trophy reached Islamabad on Thursday (14 November). But in the meantime, Pakistan has suffered a major setback. The ICC has cancelled the Champions Trophy tour to any area of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

This trophy was to be taken around the whole of Pakistan between 16 and 24 November. It was also decided to take it to three cities of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) – Skardu, Murree and Muzaffarabad. But after the objection of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the ICC has taken cognizance of this. Along with this, Pakistan has been ordered that this trophy will no longer go to PoK.
