Lucknow: In a significant boost to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s mission to transform Uttar Pradesh into the nation’s ‘economic powerhouse,’ the Nivesh Mitra portal has successfully processed over 15.40 lakh investor applications for NOCs and licenses, sparing them the hassle of dealing with multiple offices.
The Nivesh Mitra portal, a single-window system, has become a key tool in state government’s efforts, streamlining the investment process and eliminating the bureaucratic hurdles previously faced by investors and entrepreneurs.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserts that Uttar Pradesh is uniquely positioned for industrial growth, citing its exceptional law and order, extensive land bank, 96 lakh MSME units, and affordable labor as key assets for attracting major investments. The integration of technology further streamlines the investment process, significantly easing the path for investors by reducing the need for multiple departmental approvals and curbing corruption.
As a testament to its effectiveness, over 8 lakh entrepreneurs have provided positive feedback on the Nivesh Mitra portal, which boasts more than 10 lakh registered users. This single-window system, offering over 491 license-related services across 42 departments, has processed more than 15.90 lakh applications in the past six years, with a remarkable 97 percent successfully handled.

Uttar Pradesh’s Nivesh Mitra portal has emerged as the country’s most service-oriented single-window platform, significantly simplifying MOU monitoring and incentive distribution. This advancement has propelled Uttar Pradesh to the forefront of ease of doing business in India, jumping from 16th place in 2016 to 2nd place today.
According to Invest UP CEO Abhishek Prakash, the Nivesh Mitra portal is dedicated to streamlining processes for entrepreneurs and addressing their issues promptly. The portal ensures timely resolution of queries and provides NOCs efficiently through its integrated single-window system.
