SRGI Immersed in Devotion as New Year 2026 Begins with Spiritual Fervour
Lucknow: The SR Group of Institutions (SRGI), located in Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT), witnessed a historic and deeply spiritual moment as more than 5,000 devotees came together to welcome the New Year 2026 through collective bhajan–kirtan and divine music. The entire campus resonated with thunderous chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” melodious notes of Lord Krishna’s flute, and the essence of Sanatan consciousness.
The event, titled “Bhajan Jamming: Ekatva,” was not merely a cultural programme but a powerful spiritual confluence of music, devotion, and unity. Organised by SRGI in collaboration with the Jalota Academy of Spiritual Music and Performing Arts and Digi Monk, the programme created an atmosphere of collective devotion and inner awakening.
More than 5,000 devotees, students, families, and spiritual seekers gathered on a single platform, experiencing a profound sense of Ekta (unity) and Ekatva (oneness) through group chanting, naam-smaran, and soul-stirring devotional music. The programme reaffirmed Lucknow’s deep-rooted connection with Sanatan values and spiritual traditions.
The devotional evening was enriched with bhajans evoking the divine aura of Vrindavan, Kailash, Ayodhya, and Dwarka. Popular hymns such as “Ram Ram Jai Raja Ram,” “Mangal Bhavan Mangal Haari,” “Shri Krishna Govind Hare Murari,” “Satyam Shivam Sundaram,” and “Deva Shri Ganesh Deva” left the audience spellbound. The spiritual fervour reached its peak with the collective chanting of the Breathless Hanuman Chalisa, marking a powerful and uplifting conclusion to the event.

The occasion was graced by Member of the Legislative Council and Chairman of SR Group of Institutions, Pawan Singh Chauhan, Vice Chairman Piyush Singh Chauhan, Vice Chairperson Sushmita Singh, along with several other distinguished guests, who extended their greetings to the gathering.
Addressing the audience, Vice Chairman Piyush Singh Chauhan conveyed his New Year wishes for 2026 and highlighted the significance of Ekatva.
