Over 500 People Perform Mass Yoga Session on International Yoga Day

Lucknow : In celebration of the 11th International Yoga Day, more than 500 participants gathered at Saraswati Vidya Senior Secondary School, Aliganj, Lucknow, for a mass yoga session organized by the Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Sansthan. The event highlighted the unifying and health-boosting power of yoga, drawing together students, teachers, social workers, and local residents.

Dr. Neeraj Bora, MLA from North Lucknow, served as the chief guest and was joined by social worker Bindu Bora, Anurag Sahu, school manager Abhinav Bhargava, Principal Santosh Kumar Singh, Senior Administrative Officer Dinesh Mishra, Jagdanand Jha, Mahendra Pathak, and Nitesh Srivastava, among others.

In his address, Dr. Bora emphasized yoga as a powerful tool for physical and mental well-being. “Yoga provides solutions to a wide range of health issues,” he said, “and by making it a part of our routine with proper discipline, we can lead a healthier, more balanced life.”

The session was led by yoga instructors Amar Awasthi, Pravendra Singh, and Priyanka Singh, who guided the large gathering through various asanas aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and inner calm.

Teachers, students, and local residents participated with great enthusiasm, making the event a memorable community celebration of wellness, discipline, and unity through yoga.
