Lucknow: In a grand celebration attended by over 10,000 residents, MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh commemorated his birthday at his residence in Sector-K-950, Ashiyana, Lucknow, marking four years of public service in the Sarojininagar Assembly constituency. The event, celebrated as “Gratitude Day,” also saw the inauguration of several new development projects aimed at education, youth empowerment, women’s initiatives, and environmental conservation.
The day-long event witnessed unprecedented enthusiasm from constituents, party officials, and volunteers, with continuous greetings and celebrations spanning nearly five hours. Traditional prasad distribution featuring a variety of delicacies was also arranged for attendees.
Launch of Digital Education and Youth Empowerment Centers
Dr. Rajeshwar Singh inaugurated three new RBS Digital Education and Youth Empowerment Centers, adding to the 14 centers already established in the constituency. These centers provide free computer education, digital skills training, AI-based learning programs, and employment-oriented courses for youth.
Promoting Women’s Empowerment
In a bid to strengthen women’s vocational skills, the MLA announced the establishment of 10 new Tara Shakti Sewing Centers. Under his initiative, 162 centers have already distributed over 1,700 sewing machines to women in the constituency, enhancing economic independence and skill development.
Enhancing Education through Smart Classrooms
Dr. Singh’s initiatives have enabled 43 schools in Sarojininagar to be equipped with smart classrooms, providing students with modern technology-based learning and digital educational content.
Recognizing Academic Excellence
During the program, 25 meritorious students were awarded laptops, and 50 high-achieving students received bicycles. So far, more than 1,700 students in the constituency have been honored under Dr. Singh’s merit recognition programs.

Road Safety and Environmental Initiatives
The MLA launched the Safe Sarojininagar Campaign, distributing 1,000 helmets to raise awareness about road safety under the slogan, “Every Citizen Safe, Every Family Safe.” To promote environmental conservation, Dr. Singh also initiated a large-scale tree plantation drive, planting 100 kadamb trees as part of the constituency’s Net Zero Sarojininagar goal.
Youth Clubs, Temple Development, and Social Welfare
Dr. Singh announced the establishment of 10 new youth clubs with sports kits, building on the existing 282 sports clubs in the region. Additionally, he promised five handpumps in local temples, contributing to the total of 360 handpumps installed through CSR and MLA funds. Renovation work including solar lights, benches, and painting has been completed in over 200 temples.
The MLA also distributed ration at the Gauri Kanpur Road Old Age Home, managed by the Public Education and Development Institute, emphasizing his commitment to social welfare.
Engaging with the Community
Throughout the event, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh interacted with local organizations, youth, women, and citizens, discussing roadmaps for future development initiatives. Addressing the gathering, he reflected on the last four years of service as a journey not only of achievements but also of trust, cooperation, and community participation. He reaffirmed his vision to transform Sarojininagar into a model constituency in Uttar Pradesh, where education is strong, youth are empowered, society is secure, and the environment is preserved.
