On the one hand, the crowd of devotees of the mother starts gathering in the Devi temples since morning, on the other hand, Mother Bhagwati has been seated in the grand pandals with rituals. The atmosphere of the pandals has become devotional with the beats of Dhak and Dhunuchi Aarti.
More than 100 pandals
More than 100 pandals have been built for Durga Puja this year in the capital Lucknow. The worship started on Wednesday evening with the formal installation of the idol of the mother along with weapon decoration and worship. Along with the installation of the idol of the mother in the Bengali Club, a corner has also been prepared on the theme We Want Justice regarding the Kolkata incident. Devotees started arriving from the afternoon itself
A huge pandal has been prepared on the theme of Vatican City in Model House. The pandal prepared on the lines of Ram Mandir in Jankipuram State has become the center of attraction. Apart from these two places, people started arriving from Wednesday afternoon itself in the events being organized by Transgomti Dussehra and Durga Puja Committee Aliganj, Gomti Nagar Sarvajanik Puja Committee, Bengali Club, Ravindrapalli, Jankipuram, Latouch Road, Railway Colony etc.
Artists called from Bengal
The center of attraction in Durga pandals is the presentation of Dhak-Dhunuchi. Artists are called from Bengal to play Dhak in the capital. At the same time, Aarti with Dhunuchi makes the whole atmosphere devotional. A similar scene was seen in the Durga pandals of the capital on Wednesday evening.
Distribution of Prasad along with worship in temples
In the Sandodhan Devi temple located at Chowpatty, the mother was decorated grandly in the form of Mahishasura Mardini and Prasad was distributed among the devotees. At the same time, Maha Aarti was performed along with the decoration of the mother in the Badi Kaliji temple located at Chowk. Bhog was offered to the mother in Kalibari located at Ghasiari Mandi. A huge crowd of devotees was also seen in other Devi temples.
