Lucknow: The odd semester examinations commenced today at National P.G. College, Lucknow, an autonomous constituent college of the University of Lucknow and accredited by NAAC & CPE. The examinations began smoothly across all programmes in two scheduled shifts.
According to Principal Prof. Devendra Kumar Singh, the first shift was conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for the Minor paper of first-semester students of B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., BCA, BBA, BBA-DB, B.A. JMC, B.Com. (Hons), and CVFS programmes. Out of 1954 registered students, 1908 candidates appeared, while 46 students remained absent.
The second shift, held from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, included the Minor examination for third-semester students of B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., BCA, BBA, BBA-DB, B.A. JMC, and CVFS. A total of 1618 students were registered for this shift, with 1613 students appearing and 5 students absent.
The college will conduct Co-curricular examinations on November 20, 2025, in three shifts:

First Shift: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Second Shift: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

Third Shift: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
A total of 5040 students are scheduled to appear in these examinations.
To ensure fairness and discipline, strict checking of students was conducted at the college gate prior to entry. Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, handwritten notes, typed material, and other prohibited items were thoroughly inspected.
Principal Prof. Devendra Kumar Singh confirmed that the examinations were conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner, with all necessary arrangements in place.
