Lucknow: NTPC Unchahar observed the 75th Constitution Day with solemnity and pride, reaffirming its commitment to the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The event began with the reading of the Constitutional Preamble, administered by Project Head and Executive Director Abhay Kumar Srivastava, who led employees in taking the pledge to uphold constitutional duties and principles.
Senior officials, including Ashutosh Biswas, General Manager (Operations & Maintenance), and Dilip Kumar Sahu, General Manager (Operations), were present along with heads of various departments, officers, and staff members, marking a strong collective participation across the project.
Addressing the gathering, the Executive Director and senior officials paid tribute to the nation’s founding architects, highlighting the immense contribution of India’s Constitution-makers in shaping a democratic, inclusive, and progressive framework. They emphasized the relevance of constitutional values in today’s governance and corporate functioning, underscoring the importance of responsibility, transparency, and ethical conduct.

As part of the day’s proceedings, a special session on the newly implemented labour codes introduced by the Government of India was also organized. Experts briefed employees on the key provisions, reforms, and implications of the updated codes, aimed at ensuring better compliance, workforce welfare, and ease of business.
The programme concluded with a renewed commitment from all attendees to uphold the spirit of the Constitution and contribute to the nation’s development through dedicated service and teamwork.
