Notorious Thief Arrested in Lucknow’s Jankipuram Area, Stolen Items Recovered

Lucknow: Police in Lucknow’s Jankipuram area have arrested a notorious accused involved in a theft that took place in a closed shop. The accused was taken into custody with stolen items recovered from his possession, including one battery, 12 wrenches, 4 spanners, 2 screwdrivers, a pair of pliers, a hammer, a grease gun, an inch tape, and 2 tow chains.

According to official sources, on May 14, a complaint was filed at the Jankipuram police station by shop owner Sunil Kumar Dwivedi. In his statement, he alleged that a person named Ritik had broken into his shop, “Sai Enterprises,” and stolen various tools and equipment.

Acting swiftly, police registered a case and entrusted the investigation to Sub-Inspector Manish Chauhan. Based on the complaint, the accused—identified as Ritik alias Jwala, son of the late Harish—was apprehended on May 14 at around 3:30 PM.

The accused is now being presented before the court. Police have also initiated background verification to uncover any past criminal history of Ritik and are gathering intelligence from nearby districts and police stations.
