“No Treatment Will Stop Due to Lack of Funds,” Assures CM Yogi at Janata Darshan

Over 60 people present grievances; CM emphasizes timely redressal, compassion, and public trust

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reaffirmed his government’s commitment to public welfare and responsive governance during the Janata Darshan programme held in Lucknow on the first Monday of November. Meeting over 60 visitors from across the state, the Chief Minister patiently heard their grievances and directed officials to ensure time-bound and satisfactory resolution of every case.

Addressing those seeking financial assistance for medical treatment, CM Yogi assured, “No one’s treatment will stop due to lack of money. Just send us the hospital estimate — the rest is our responsibility.” He emphasized that the government stands firmly with every needy citizen and will ensure that financial constraints never become a barrier to healthcare.

On issues related to law and order, the Chief Minister instructed police officials to prioritize victims’ satisfaction. Several complainants expressed dissatisfaction over pending investigations and non-recovery of stolen goods, while others raised land dispute cases. CM Yogi immediately ordered inquiries and directed officials to remove illegal encroachments without delay.

Demonstrating his trademark warmth, the Chief Minister also interacted affectionately with children accompanying the petitioners, placing a gentle hand on their heads and offering chocolates. He encouraged them to “study well, play hard, and make your parents proud.”

CM Yogi reiterated that his government is fully dedicated to ensuring the safety, dignity, and welfare of every citizen. “Our administration’s top priority is to safeguard the interests of the common people — whether it is justice, healthcare, or development,” he said.

In a lighter vein, the Chief Minister remarked that despite visible progress across the state, some leaders of the opposition INDI Alliance still “fail to see development,” referring to them as “Pappu, Tappu, and Appu.”

Concluding the session, CM Yogi instructed officials to personally follow up with complainants after resolutions are made, to ensure accountability and public satisfaction.

He also reminded district administrations that during the upcoming festive and pilgrimage season, “the safety, cleanliness, and convenience of devotees must remain their highest responsibility.”
