Lucknow – In a decisive move to enforce traffic rules and enhance road safety, Inspector Sudhir Awasthi of Gomti Nagar Vistar launched a strict vehicle checking drive on Wednesday.
The campaign was carried out at Gate No. 4 of Janeshwar Mishra Park, a busy intersection known for frequent traffic violations. Inspector Awasthi, along with his team, cracked down on vehicles speeding without helmets and valid number plates.
Several two-wheeler riders were penalized on the spot for flouting basic safety regulations. The operation was aimed at curbing reckless driving and ensuring proper documentation of vehicles plying on city roads.
Speaking about the drive, Inspector Awasthi stated, “The safety of commuters is our top priority. We will not tolerate violations that endanger lives. Regular checks like these will continue.”
