Nick India Partners with BSF and FTE School to Inspire Patriotism and Togetherness
Amritsar: In a heartwarming celebration of Republic Day, Nick India brought together the Border Security Force (BSF), children from the FTE School of Round Table India, and beloved Nicktoons Motu and Patlu at the iconic Attari-Wagah Border. The event was a unique tribute to the values of equality, liberty, and unity enshrined in the Indian Constitution, engaging both children and BSF jawans in a day filled with pride, joy, and inspiration.
A Day of Celebration and Learning
The celebrations began with the animated duo Motu and Patlu, loved for their humor and playfulness, bringing cheer to the crowd gathered at the border. Their presence infused the atmosphere with infectious energy, as children and jawans alike enjoyed their antics.
The highlight of the event was the ceremonial hoisting of the Indian National Flag. As the tricolour waved majestically against the backdrop of the border, Motu and Patlu stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the BSF jawans and children from the FTE School of Round Table India. The sight symbolized the spirit of togetherness and respect for the nation’s defenders, resonating deeply with everyone present.
Fostering Patriotism Among Children
The event offered a valuable opportunity for children to learn about the importance of Republic Day and the values embedded in the Indian Constitution. Through engaging interactions, children were asked meaningful questions such as, “What does Republic Day mean to you?” and “How can we contribute to the nation’s well-being?” The kids’ responses reflected simplicity yet carried profound messages, including, “Helping others makes our country stronger” and “Keeping our surroundings clean.”
TR Anterpreet Singh Sahni, Chairman of Area 18, Round Table India, and TR Nitin Mehra, Chairman of Amritsar Round Table, emphasized the significance of the day, saying, “It was a wonderful experience for our children from the FTE School of Round Table India to celebrate Republic Day at the Attari-Wagah Border with Nick India and the BSF. Witnessing the ceremony up close, especially with their favorite Motu and Patlu, truly made them feel connected, proud, and excited about the significance of Republic Day.”
