Lucknow : The newly elected executive members of the MACT (Motor Accident Claims Tribunal) Bar Association, Lucknow, were formally administered the oath of office on Tuesday, May 14, in the presence of Presiding Officers Rajesh Upadhyay (Southern Bench) and Rekha Agnihotri (Northern Bench) at the tribunal premises.
The oath-taking ceremony witnessed the presence of two eminent dignitaries as chief guests—Transport Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dayashankar Singh, and Vice Chairperson of the State Women Commission, Uttar Pradesh, Aparna Yadav. Both extended their congratulations to the new office-bearers and urged the legal fraternity to work in close cooperation between the Bar and the Bench to ensure smooth judicial functioning and timely justice.

Aparna Yadav, while congratulating the team, highlighted the importance of gender sensitivity and inclusivity in the legal profession and urged the association to promote equal opportunities for women lawyers and clients seeking justice in accident-related cases.
