Akhilesh Jaiswal and Avneesh Dixit Take Charge as President and General Secretary of Central Bar Association, Lucknow
Lucknow: Akhilesh Jaiswal and Avneesh Dixit (alias Honey) have officially assumed their respective roles as President and General Secretary of the Central Bar Association, Lucknow, following their victory in the recently concluded elections.
Jaiswal secured the presidency with 1,334 votes, while Dixit won the post of General Secretary with 1,364 votes. Their electoral success marks a new chapter for one of Uttar Pradesh’s most prominent legal bodies.
In a show of courtesy and goodwill, both leaders paid a formal visit to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During the meeting, they engaged in discussions on several important issues concerning the legal community and the broader justice system in the state.
The Central Bar Association elections drew significant attention in Lucknow’s legal circles. Jaiswal and Dixit’s win is being seen as a strong endorsement of their leadership and vision for reform and progress within the association.

Both leaders expressed their commitment to strengthening the voice of the legal fraternity, ensuring transparency in the functioning of the association, and working closely with government authorities to address key concerns faced by advocates.
Their meeting with the Chief Minister is also seen as a positive step toward building better coordination between the legal community and the state administration.
