Lucknow | A new regional unit of the Sanyukt Udyog Vyapar Mandal was formally constituted during a key meeting held for traders, industrialists, and entrepreneurs from Bangarmau and Kannauj. The meeting was conducted under the leadership of State President Abhishek Pal.
Focus on Regional Trade Issues
The meeting was marked by detailed discussions on several critical sectors impacting the regional economy. Key issues included potato production, storage, and export systems, the strengthening of the perfume (fragrance) industry supply chain in Kannauj, challenges faced by oil depot traders, concerns of cold storage operators, and transportation and logistics bottlenecks.
The organization assured participants that these issues would be taken up with the administration on priority, with a commitment to pursuing effective and timely solutions.
National President Highlights Vision
Chief Guest and National President Geeta Gupta addressed the gathering, describing the organization as a powerful voice representing millions of traders across the country.
She emphasized the immense potential in sectors such as agriculture-based trade, potato production, perfume industry, and cold storage infrastructure. Gupta called for stronger policy support and improved infrastructure to unlock growth opportunities.
She also stressed that the organization aims not only to raise concerns but to ensure long-term solutions through policy-level interventions. Urging unity among traders, she said, “An organized trader community is a strong trader community.”

Leadership Reaffirms Commitment
National General Secretary Prachi Pandey reiterated the organization’s commitment to safeguarding traders’ interests, while National Vice President Ranu Singh highlighted plans to expand the संगठन’s reach to every district.
Organizers Emphasize Growth and Collaboration
Among the organizers, Saurabh Tiwari described the meeting as a significant step toward regional trade development, while Shrikant Tiwari emphasized the need to address real issues faced by traders. Pankaj Srivastava highlighted the importance of coordination and cooperation to accelerate business growth in the region.

The event concluded with a collective pledge by traders and office bearers to strengthen the organization and work unitedly for the protection and promotion of trader interests.
The formation of the new unit is expected to provide a stronger platform for addressing regional business challenges and boosting economic activity in the Unnao–Kannauj belt.
