Ayodhya | This year’s Deepotsav 2025, under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, promises to be more than a festival—it will be a vibrant recreation of the Ramayana era. A grand Pushpak Viman, being constructed along Ram Ki Paidi, is set to become the festival’s centerpiece and a major selfie point for devotees and tourists alike.
Blending Ancient Epic with Modern Technology
The festival brings to life the celestial return of Lord Shri Ram to Ayodhya after his victory over Lanka, as narrated in Treta Yug. The Pushpak Viman, designed with a royal aesthetic, will stretch 32 feet in length, 25–30 feet in height, and 20 feet in width. Inspired by a peacock motif and constructed with EPC seats, the structure is lightweight, visually stunning, and built to last.
Ram Ki Paidi: A Confluence of Devotion and Beauty
In front of the Pushpak Viman, scenes from the Ramayana depicting Lord Ram, Mata Sita, and Laxman arriving in Ayodhya will be showcased. Visitors will be able to capture this divine tableau at the dedicated selfie point. Evening festivities will feature a laser light show, rows of lamps, and floral showers, making the spot a new hub of cultural tourism in Ayodhya.
Ayodhya’s Vision as the Cultural Capital
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed that every aspect of Deepotsav reflect the spiritual essence of the Ramayana. Ram Ki Paidi, Dharmapath, and Ramkatha Park are being adorned with themed decorations to establish Ayodhya not only as a religious center but also as a global cultural and tourism capital.
Craftsmanship Meets Devotion
Skilled artisans from Ayodhya, Lucknow, and Varanasi are collaborating to create the Pushpak Viman, blending traditional art with modern technology. The golden hues, peacock feather designs, and regal styling will add grandeur to the festival.

A Spiritual and Visual Spectacle
When millions of lamps illuminate Ayodhya during Deepotsav, the Pushpak Viman will make it feel as if Treta Yug has returned. Devotees, tourists, and performers will all have the opportunity to experience the spiritual magnificence of Ayodhya and the legacy of Ram Rajya.
Saurabh Kumar Singh, owner of Sark Media—the executing agency selected by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department—stated that their aim is to create an environment that is visually spectacular while reflecting Ayodhya’s rich cultural heritage.
This year’s Deepotsav is set to become a landmark event, merging faith, artistry, and modern spectacle to celebrate the timeless glory of Lord Ram’s birthplace.
