Mumbai — On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, Contiloe Pictures and Illusion Reality Studio unveiled the new poster of their much-anticipated 3D animated film Mahayoddha Ram, an epic retelling of the life and legacy of Lord Shri Ram. The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on October 17, Diwali day, in Hindi and Telugu.
Bringing the timeless tale of Ramayana to life through cutting-edge animation and powerful voice performances, the film features several Bollywood stars lending their voices to iconic characters. The formidable Ravan is voiced by Gulshan Grover, while veteran actor Raza Murad lends his commanding voice to Maharshi Vishwamitra. Several other well-known artists have voiced supporting characters, enriching the cinematic experience.
Speaking about the project, Abhimanyu Singh, CEO of Contiloe Pictures and the film’s producer, said,
“People know Lord Ram as Maryada Purushottam, the epitome of virtue, but he was also a great warrior. Through Mahayoddha Ram, we aim to portray this extraordinary aspect of his character. Lord Ram is not just a revered figure in India but a symbol of faith and devotion for people across the world, which is why we decided to release the film on a global scale.”

Directed by Raizada Rohit Jaising Vaid, Mahayoddha Ram is written and scripted by Sameer Sharma, with dialogues penned by Varun Grover and Rahul Patel. The film’s soul-stirring songs are written by Javed Akhtar and composed by Aadesh Shrivastava, while the background score has been crafted by Souvik Chakraborty.
Distributed by Cinépolis India, the film reimagines the Ramayana with a blend of mythological depth and modern visual storytelling, offering audiences a chance to experience the valor, devotion, and humanity of Lord Ram like never before.
With its global release this Diwali, Mahayoddha Ram promises to be a grand cinematic tribute to one of the world’s most revered heroes — a fusion of mythology, technology, and timeless faith.
