Bareilly: A facilitation program was held at the Department of Law, MJP Rohilkhand University, to welcome the newly appointed Professor Dr. V.K. Gupta and Associate Professor Dr. Arun Prakash Singh.
The event commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and flower offerings to Goddess Saraswati by Head of Department Prof. Amit Singh, Professor V.K. Gupta, and Associate Professor Arun Prakash Singh. The HOD formally welcomed the new faculty members by presenting them with bouquets and shawls. Faculty members of the department also greeted the newcomers with floral tributes.
During the program, the newly appointed professors interacted with LLM students and research scholars, expressing gratitude and emphasizing their commitment to contributing to the department’s academic growth. In a gesture of collegiality, all faculty members congratulated Dr. Amit Singh on his promotion to Professor and welcomed him with flowers.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. K.P. Singh, Vice-Chancellor of MJP Rohilkhand University, and directed by HOD Prof. Amit Singh. The program was hosted by Dr. Shahnaz Akhtar.
Also present were faculty members Dr. Shahnaz Akhtar, Dr. Anuradha Yadav, Dr. Lakshmi Devi, Mr. Naimuddin, Mr. Amit Kumar Singh, Ms. Juhi Naseem, Nidhi Shankar, Preksha Singh, Priyadarshini Rawat, Ravikant Yadav, Preeti Verma, Jyoti Mishra, Dr. Sachin Rastogi, along with research scholars Shraddha Swaroop and Shailendra Singh, LLM students, and departmental staff including Gulab Singh, Ram Vachan, Mohit, among others.
