Lucknow: The new dates (UP Police Exam Dates) for the written examination of Direct Recruitment-2023 for 60,244 posts of constable in Uttar Pradesh Police have been announced. The Uttar Pradesh Recruitment and Promotion Board has decided to conduct the written examination of Direct Recruitment-2023 for 60244 posts of constable civil police on 23, 24, 25, 30, 31 August 2024.
The exam was canceled after the paper leak
In the press release issued by the police, it has been told that this examination was canceled earlier. CM Yogi had directed that this examination should be conducted again within 6 months keeping in mind the highest standards of purity and transparency. This program has been announced in the sequence of the commitment of the UP government to conduct this examination in a fair and transparent manner according to the highest standards within a fixed time frame.
According to the information, this exam will be conducted in 2 shifts and about 5 lakh candidates will appear in it in each shift. Candidates appearing in the exam will have the facility of free bus service of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. Let us tell you that this exam was canceled after the paper leak.
The UP government had said that the exam will be conducted again within 6 months. Earlier, the exam was held in 75 districts of UP on 17 and 18 February. More than 48 lakh students appeared in it. Since then, students were protesting all over the state alleging paper leak. It was alleged that the exam papers were sold for Rs 100 each on Telegram. The police had caught 287 solvers and people associated with their gang. After this, the Yogi government had cancelled the paper.
