Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Police arrested a non-bailable warrant (NBW) accused during a targeted operation carried out by the Mahanagar Police Station team in Lucknow.
The accused has been identified as Pankaj Kesarwani (52), son of late Ramnarayan, who resides at the Law Section Officer’s office, Room No. 503, fifth floor of Shakti Bhawan under the jurisdiction of Hazratganj.
Police officials said that a non-bailable warrant had been issued against the accused by the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court, Lucknow, after he repeatedly failed to appear before the court during hearings. The warrant was issued in connection with Case No. 29/23 registered at Gomti Nagar Police Station under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, related to criminal breach of trust and cheating.
Acting on the warrant, the Mahanagar police team arrested the accused on March 12, 2026, from in front of Shakti Bhawan in Hazratganj.

The operation was carried out by a police team comprising Sub-Inspector Satyendra Kumar and Constable Pankaj Bhardwaj from Mahanagar police station.
Police said that further legal proceedings are being carried out against the accused as per law.
