Naushad Samman Award for Music Composer Mithun Sharma and Singer Pratibha Singh Baghel

Musical Evening with Pratibha Baghel, Aditi Rai, and Sakshi Tanjea on February 23

Lucknow: The Naushad Samman Award will be conferred upon eminent music composer Mithun Sharma and renowned singer Pratibha Singh Baghel on February 23. The ceremony will take place at the 11 GRC Punit Dutt Auditorium in Lucknow as part of the Avadh Festival.

Pratibha Baghel will be joined by Aditi Rai and Dubai-based ghazal singer Sakshi Tanjea for a musical evening. The event will also be attended by the Chief of Staff of the Central Command and other military officers.
According to Zafar Nabi, convener of the Hunar Creation and Craft Association, the award is given in recognition of outstanding contributions to music in the film industry, in the name of the legendary music composer Naushad.

The association has previously honored several renowned artists, including Amjad Ali Khan, Shivkumar Sharma, Hema Malini, Rekha Bhardwaj, Sonu Nigam, Talat Aziz, Anup Jalota, Radhika Chopra, and Sonam Kalra.
The event will feature a diverse range of performances, including Hindustani classical music, ghazals, and Bollywood songs.Pratibha Baghel is a renowned singer known for her versatility, while Aditi Rai is also a skilled singer. Sakshi Tanjea, an internationally acclaimed young ghazal singer from Dubai, will make her debut performance in Lucknow.
