National Conference on Cervical Cancer Prevention 2026

Lucknow: The Amity Institute of Biotechnology at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus successfully organized a National Conference on “Enhancing Women’s Well-being Through Cervical Cancer Prevention” on 17 March 2026. The conference was conducted in an online mode and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, researchers, academicians, and healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds.

The program commenced with the joining of participants followed by a warm welcome address by the emcees. The inaugural session began with the virtual lighting of the lamp and Ganesh Vandana, invoking blessings for the successful conduct of the conference. The conference started with the shared blessings of Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus and Prof. (Dr.) Qamar Rahman Dean Research (Science & Technology), session started with the address of Prof. (Dr.) J.K. Srivastava, Deputy Dean Research, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh K. Tiwari, Director, Amity Institute of Biotechnology and Dean Academics,Wg. Cdr. (Retd.) Prof. (Dr.) Anil K. Tiwari, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus.

The conference was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Pradyumn Singh, Professor and Dean at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, who delivered an insightful address highlighting advancements in cancer diagnostics and the importance of preventive healthcare.The event also marked the release of the conference abstract book, showcasing valuable research contributions from participants.

The scientific sessions featured three keynote lectures by distinguished experts. Dr. Ritu Saxena delivered an informative talk on “Safeguarding Women’s Health: Advances and Strategies in Cervical Cancer Prevention.” This was followed by Dr. Nilima Kumari, who discussed “Current Diagnostic Strategies for Cervical Cancer,” focusing on modern screening and diagnostic approaches. The third keynote lecture was delivered by Dr. Swapnil Srivastava on “Lifestyle Management to Cope with Preventive Aspects of Cervical Cancer,” emphasizing the role of healthy living in disease prevention.

The conference concluded on a successful note, reflecting a collaborative effort by the organizing team and active participation from researchers, students and attendees. The Convenors Dr Prachi Srivastavaand Dr Jyoti Prakash, along with Co-Convenor Dr Ruchi Yadav and the Organizing Secretaries Dr Manish Dwivedi, Dr Rachna Chaturvedi and Dr Shilpi Srivastava, played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and executing the event. Their efforts were strongly supported by the dedicated student coordinators Sankalp Jaiswal, Khushi Yadav, Abhishek Kumar and Nandini whose enthusiasm and commitment contributed significantly to the seamless conduct of the conference.
