Agra, India: National Book Trust, India (NBT, India), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is organising a book exhibition at the Centre for Ambition in Agra from September 9 to 15, 2024. This initiative is part of NBT’s ongoing efforts to promote the habit of reading among children and youth, even in today’s modern times.
The seven-day exhibition will be inaugurated by Agra District Magistrate, Bhanuchandra Goswami (IAS), at 11 a.m. on September 9. A wide range of books in Hindi, English, Urdu, and other Indian languages, published by NBT, India, will be available for readers. The collection will include various genres such as picture books, children’s novels, plays, stories for young readers, self-help and self-development books, science books, biographies, and both fiction and non-fiction works.
For over 68 years, NBT, India has been a key knowledge partner for the country, organising book exhibitions and fairs across different cities in India. Every year world’s largest book fair, The New Delhi World Book Fair organised by National Book Trust, India in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi will be held from 1-9 February 2025 in Bharat Mandapam.
This annual Fair serves as an important platform to encourage and foster a love for reading across generations.
