Lucknow, March 27: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the past eight years have witnessed a transparent and fair recruitment process that has provided new identities and global opportunities to the youth. In this regard, a grand ceremony was held at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow, where CM Yogi distributed appointment letters to 283 medical officers and junior laboratory assistants selected by the UPPSC and UPSSSC for the AYUSH and Home Departments. Addressing the newly selected candidates, CM Yogi emphasized that serving the nation is not about slogans or speeches but about sincerely fulfilling one’s duties. He urged the recruits to carry out their responsibilities with full dedication and transparency to help Uttar Pradesh advance as a leading economy of the country.

The ceremony saw the distribution of appointment letters to 283 candidates, including 163 medical officers, 2 Ayurveda readers, 19 professors, 3 homeopathy lecturers for the AYUSH department, and 96 junior laboratory assistants for the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) under the Home Department. The selected candidates expressed their joy and shared their experiences, highly appreciating CM Yogi’s transparent and fair selection process. CM Yogi thanked the UPPSC and UPSSSC for conducting the recruitment process with integrity and congratulated all the new recruits.

8.30 Lakh Government Jobs Provided in 8 Years – CM Yogi

CM Yogi highlighted the achievements of the past eight years, stating that the government has provided 8.30 lakh government jobs during this period. He pointed out that if these appointments were not conducted with transparency and integrity, they would have faced legal challenges, delaying the recruitment process. The CM revealed that in these eight years, 1.56 lakh police personnel were recruited, 60,200 police recruitments were recently completed, and a significant number of teachers were also appointed. The recruitment process in various departments has been conducted with equal efficiency. CM Yogi stated that today, with trained and competent personnel joining government service, the system is functioning more effectively. As a result, Uttar Pradesh has transitioned from a ‘BIMARU’ state to the growth engine of the country’s economy.

Before 2017, UP Was in Chaos, the System Was in Shambles – CM Yogi

Taking a dig at previous governments, CM Yogi said that before 2017, UPPSC, UPSSSC, and the Police Recruitment Board were surrounded by controversies. Court cases were filed against their processes, and even the judiciary raised questions on their functioning. The state was labeled as ‘BIMARU’ (lagging behind), but in reality, it was the flawed system that was in crisis. Due to indecisiveness and poor governance, every section of society suffered. However, today, due to the government’s swift actions, integrity, and transparency, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ of a ‘New India,’ ready to support the nation’s economy.

Uttar Pradesh to Become a Health Tourism Hub – CM Yogi

Addressing the newly recruited medical officers in the AYUSH department, CM Yogi highlighted that Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and other traditional medical practices are integral to India’s ancient heritage. PM Modi’s establishment of a dedicated ministry for these practices has yielded significant results. He noted that an AYUSH University has been established in Uttar Pradesh, and 2,114 Ayurveda, 254 Unani, and 1,585 Homeopathy hospitals are operational. Additionally, the construction of AYUSH hospitals in Lucknow and Pilibhit is nearing completion, and 15 districts have already started 50-bed Integrated AYUSH Hospitals.

CM Yogi emphasized the immense potential of health tourism in UP, given its pure environment and abundant water resources. He stated that just as Uttar Pradesh has become the top religious tourism destination, it will now become a leading health tourism hub. AYUSH hospitals and wellness centers will play a pivotal role in this transformation. He urged the medical officers to preserve ancient Ayurvedic practices and raise awareness about organic farming and a balanced lifestyle.

FSL Labs to Ensure Rule of Law and Timely Justice – CM Yogi

Distributing appointment letters to 96 junior laboratory assistants for FSL labs, CM Yogi stated that forensic labs would play a crucial role under the new laws set to be implemented in July 2024. He stressed that timely justice requires strong evidence, and forensic science plays a pivotal role in crime investigations. Previously, UP had only four FSL labs, but today, the state has 12 operational labs, with six more under construction. Plans are underway to establish FSL labs at each range level and provide two mobile forensic units per district. The state has also established the Uttar Pradesh State Forensic Institute, offering diploma and degree courses. CM Yogi assured that in the next ten years, students from this institute would have ample job opportunities both in India and abroad.

Faith and Heritage Have Created Employment Opportunities for Millions – CM Yogi

Highlighting the role of faith and heritage in employment generation, CM Yogi remarked that teamwork and technology were instrumental in the success of Maha Kumbh. Over 45 days, millions of visitors from across the globe praised the event’s management. He cited examples of Kashi, Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Gorakhpur, Naimisharanya, Mathura-Vrindavan, and Sukh Teerth, where religious tourism has created livelihood opportunities for millions. CM Yogi noted that when a state takes pride in its heritage, the world takes an interest in it. He pointed out that yoga, once ignored, is now celebrated by 193 countries on International Yoga Day.

Today’s Government is Providing Youth with a Global Identity – CM Yogi

Concluding his address, CM Yogi reiterated that the current government is providing youth with new identities and global opportunities. With transparent recruitments, increased job opportunities, and a focus on tourism, healthcare, and technological advancements, Uttar Pradesh is on a rapid path to becoming one of India’s most prosperous states.
