Nandbaba Dairy Mission Signs MoU with Indian Bank for Portal Development and Operations

Lucknow: In a significant step towards digital transformation in the dairy sector, Nandbaba Dairy Mission and Indian Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development and operation of the Nandbaba Dairy Mission Portal. The MoU was formally executed between the Dairy Commissioner and Mission Director of Nandbaba Dairy Mission and the Zonal Manager of Indian Bank.

The portal is designed to facilitate online applications for various beneficiary schemes, conduct selection through e-lottery, and enable Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for grants. This digital initiative aims to ensure a transparent, efficient, and speedy process, in line with the objectives of Digital India.

During the current financial year 2025-26, the portal will be used for online selection of beneficiaries under multiple schemes, including:

  • Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana
  • Mini Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana
  • Chief Minister Swadeshi Cow Conservation Scheme
  • Chief Minister Progressive Livestock Farmer Scheme

The portal has been developed free of cost by Indian Bank, Hazratganj Branch, Lucknow, which will also provide technical support and maintenance for the next three years.

Senior officials from the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, Political Pensions, and representatives from Indian Bank were present during the signing ceremony.

This collaboration is expected to strengthen digital governance in the dairy sector, streamline beneficiary selection, and promote financial inclusion for livestock and dairy farmers across Uttar Pradesh.
