Lucknow: The festive spirit of Holi was in full bloom at the Fag Utsav organized by the Lok Sanskriti Shodh Sansthan at Little Champs School, Viram Khand, Gomti Nagar. The event saw an enthusiastic gathering of people celebrating Holi with traditional folk music, dhol, and manjira rhythms, filling the air with joyous melodies.
Renowned art critic Dr. S.K. Gopal, speaking on the occasion, remarked that Holi breaks societal barriers, allowing people to break free from restrictions and embrace the spirit of openness. He highlighted how the festival infuses joy and vibrancy into the lives of those facing hardships and despair.
Devotional Beginning & Mesmerizing Performances
The Holi Baithak commenced with devotional songs dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Shiva, Kali, Hanuman, and Ram, performed by Soumya Goyal, Praveen Gaur, Madhuri Soni, and fellow artists.
Under the direction of dance guru Nivedita Bhattacharya, performers including Suman Mishra, Mihika, Avika, Vinita Mishra, Atharv Srivastava, Adrika Mishra, Avyukta, Gunashree, Sanskriti, and Shriyadeep enthralled the audience with their mesmerizing dance sequences.

The event featured a series of soulful Fag performances, captivating the audience with the beauty of traditional Holi songs:

Adding to the cultural grandeur, renowned dancer Jyoti Kiran Ratan, singer Suman Panda, and vocalist S.P. Sahu captivated the audience with their performances.
A Celebration of Colors & Togetherness
The event was coordinated by Richa Mathur, while Jitesh Srivastava (President) and Dr. Sudha Dwivedi (Secretary) led the celebrations by applying gulal to all attendees, symbolizing the festival’s unity and joy.
Distinguished guests included retired DGP Asit Kumar Panda, IFS officer Ravindra N, Geeta Ravi, Rajnarayan Verma, and social worker Anoop Gupta, among others.
