Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Kumar Conducts Surprise City Inspection, Orders Acceleration of Ongoing Work

Lucknow:  Municipal Commissioner  Gaurav Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of various areas of the city to assess the preparedness of the Municipal Corporation. The aim of the inspection was to review cleanliness and development activities in view of the upcoming monsoon season and the proposed visit of the  Vice President.

Inspection of Haidar Canal Drain and Review of Cleaning Efforts

At 6:20 AM, the Commissioner inspected the Haidar Canal drain. Keeping the rainy season in mind, cleaning of the drain is underway by the Municipal Corporation. During the inspection, Kumar emphasized the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness to prevent waterlogging and ensure convenience for residents during the rains.

Cleanliness Instructions Around AKTU Campus for Vice President’s Proposed Visit

At 6:49 AM, Kumar visited Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) campus and surrounding areas in Zone-3. In light of the Vice President’s upcoming program, he directed the Zonal Sanitation Officer (ZSO) to launch a special cleanliness drive in the area. He stressed that no negligence would be tolerated in maintaining hygiene at and around the event venue. Any lapses would result in action against the responsible officials.

Inspection of CM Grid Project Progress Near Census Office

At 7:19 AM, the Commissioner inspected the progress of the CM Grid projects near the Census Office in Aliganj, Zone-3. He reviewed the pace of the work and emphasized expediting the project while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Comprehensive Review of CM Grid Projects in Mahanagar Area

At 7:45 AM,  Kumar conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing CM Grid projects in the Mahanagar area. He instructed all concerned officers to avoid unnecessary delays and to ensure timely delivery of improved public services.

Active Participation of Officers and Staff in the Inspection

Additional Municipal Commissioners  Lalit Kumar and Pankaj Kumar, Chief Engineer (Civil)  Mahesh Verma, Chief Engineer (RR)  Manoj Kumar Prabhat, Zone-3 Zonal Officer, and several other officials and employees of the Municipal Corporation accompanied the inspection. All officers were directed to promptly address any shortcomings noted during the inspection and to ensure regular monitoring to maintain momentum in the work.
