Lucknow : Students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus shone with pride and happiness as their rainbow coloured talents spilled out at Summer Camps organized by the school. Games, sports, yoga and aerobics, art, painting, music, dance, painting, craft work, swimming, skating, public speaking, basketball, singing and taekwondo were practiced with great skill under experts and renowned exponents of the game. The Summer Campus brought out the talents of children who loved to participate in the different activities organized here. Sharma stated that there was great enthusiasm and eagerness amongst the students to attend these camps which provided a lot of learning, fun and laughter in the summer holidays. Their usefulness can be gauged from the parents’ feedback who are praising the school for arranging these ‘useful opportunities of fun and learning’ for their growing kids.
Sharma stated further that these golden moments of summer fun will be cherished and long remembered by the children. They are learning life’s values and developing their character and qualities of friendliness, mutual trust and cooperation at these camps away from the cut and dried formulae of books and classrooms. The physical fitness and technical abilities are also being enhanced. Attendance is high in the music classes as children twang popular tunes on the guitar or enjoy solo songs with their friends. It is a complete outflow of talents in music, art and drama. Healthy competition is seen in games and sports where each is ready to outdo the other. Sharma said that CMS is committed to developing the all-round abilities of students and these summer camps are a visible medium to fulfill the aims of wholesome and purposeful education.
