Lucknow : Kunskapsskolan Lucknow witnessed an unforgettable celebration of Mother’s Day, organized by students of Grades 1 and 2. This year’s theme, “Back to School”, struck an emotional chord with everyone present as mothers arrived dressed as schoolgirls, revisiting the sweet memories of their childhood.
The event began with heartwarming performances by the young students, who dedicated soulful dances to their mothers. Their emotional renditions on songs like “Luka Chhupi”, “Meri Pyari Ammi”, and “Ungli Pakad Ke Chalna” moved the audience and brought tears to many eyes.
A group performance of the song “My Beautiful Mommy” further deepened the emotional atmosphere, beautifully reflecting the profound bond between a mother and her child.
While the little ones adorned the stage with love and joy, a range of exciting games was organized especially for the mothers. Games like Tap, Snatch, Grab and Balloon Balancing brought wide smiles and enthusiastic participation, making the day all the more memorable.
The highlight of the event, however, was the School Girl Ramp Walk, where mothers took to the stage dressed in school uniforms—complete with twin braids, ribbons in their hair, and school bags. As they walked the ramp with playful grace, the auditorium resounded with applause and cheer.
The event was graced by Madhulika, Head of School, Rizwan, Academic Coordinator, Sana, Grade Lead, and the entire Early Years Wing team. Their dedication and collaborative efforts made the celebration truly special.
This occasion not only reminded the mothers of their own school days but also gave them a chance to create fresh, joyful memories with their children.
